Motherhood for dummies

I've got nearly 10 years of parenting under my belt. 6 children: 5 separate deliveries and a 4 year old brought home from another country. 2 of my children require constant care because they have special needs.

So you'd think I'd have some basic, logistical parenting skills down by now.

Like: Don't forget to check a room for markers before you lay a 23 month old down for a nap.

And the ironic part is, I've made this mistake before. With Abby. I've got sharpie stains on my sheets to prove it. You can see those pictures here.

But how do you punish a face like this?

Good thing that this time it was a washable Crayola.
