Random stuff

"With love to share, families turn to adoption" Some of you may know this already or have already seen it, but our family was in the Williamson AM section of the Tennessean this past Sunday. :) I'm not posting this on our adoption blog because the article does mention our pregnancy. Wasn't thinking about that when they interviewed me over the phone. :) They got Jake's name wrong (I'm married to "Jack Spencer" through the whole article) and they messed up the kids ages but nonetheless I thought it was pretty fun and wanted to share. (For those who don't know them, the Wiemers and the Baileys are both friends of ours from church. You can find links to their blogs on my sidebar.) You can click here to read the article. Our family is on pages 2 and 3.

Also, we were very blessed with a sweet gift... I wrote about it on my adoption blog and you can read about that here.

Lastly, I thought I would share that as I was talking with the girls today about the baby... Ashley announced (for the second time) that she wants the baby's name to be Sarah. Hm. Ok we'll think about it. And Emily has decided that the baby's name should be Strawberry Shortcake. Yeah, probably not so much on that one. :)

And in case you don't think about it every other second like I do, WE LEAVE IN THREE DAYS!!! Aaahhh!!

  1. Hey Amy...just curious...are you not telling the Ukrainian adoption people (like that technical term!?) that you are pregnant also? I was wondering if that would cause any issues on their end. Congrats on the newest Spencer girl, by the way!!
