No, Emily has not passed the magnet yet. To our knowledge. Its really not easy to chase a 3 year old around with a plastic bag to catch her poop in so you can examine it (which was actually the easiest of the many tried methods). Nor is it my favorite new chore. AND my kids were finding it a little TOO funny and I didn't feel I was setting a good example. :) SO... we kinda gave up on it.
The nurse said that it could be up to three weeks before she passes it, so we opted for waiting the three weeks and going back in for another xray. If you are one of those kind of parents who can actually rummage through feces to find ingested items without puking, good for you. I am just not one of those moms.
crack me up! don't know if i'd be one of 'those moms' myself - i'm sure my day to find out will be coming -and when it does - i'll think of you! lol
