The things that fill my brain currently

-What needs to be cleared out of our house so it looks presentable enough to sell?
-What are some creative things to put in my kids' lunches?
-What am I going to get my husband for Christmas?
-What area of town do I want to live in if we move?
-Do the Duggars use their home-made laundry detergent in those high-efficiency machines?
-Is this the best way to rearrange our living room furniture?
-How many ounces does Mabry get in one feeding when she nurses?
-How many times do I have to tell Micah "no"?
-Will we ever see our church small group again or has life become eternally chaotic?
-Does Abby wake up at night because she's scared of something?
-When did Emily start talking like she's a teenager?
-If Micah is Ukrainian, why is he so tan?
-Does Ashley talk this much when she's at school?
-Was that my phone ringing?
-What time did I feed Mabry last?
-When was the last time I showered?
-What day is this?

Yep. That pretty much sums it up.

  1. I think if you move, you should head in the direction of Murfreesboro ;)

I have no clue why Micah is so tan, but he sure is cute! And Emily is sounding even MORE like my Kami if she is sounding like a teenager!

I think your house looks great, I had no clue it was the size it is until you told me. It looks bigger!

We need to get together again, next time when I actually have Kami.

And, don't worry, things will eventually calm down or you will get used to your new normal!

  2. So many thoughts for one mommy! So many little people for one mommy to love on. Make sure you are resting with the little ones. It helps.

  5. i do. it's one bar fels-naptha (stick it in your blender a little at a time til it is powder), 1 cup of Borax, 1 cup of Washing soda. Use no more than 1tsp per load.
I buy my fels-naptha online through my upromise. You can get a case for around $20... it'll last a year at least.

I tell Ralph "no" but it doesn't seem to compute!

  7. I think if you move, move closer to Grace Chapel if possible.

  8. Wow thanks guys for the soap recipes!!! I'm totally gonna start doing this. We just bought a new HE washer and dryer before Micah came home (you can read my post about doing laundry OUTSIDE, yuck) and ever since we got them, I've been wondering about this home-made stuff. I hate spending SO much on detergent! Do either of you have anyone in your family with sensitive skin and if so, does it bother them? Abby and Emily both have SUPER sensitive skin.

    Thanks for the tips!!

  9. Alex has some pretty sensitive skin, but we haven't had any problems. If you'd like to just try it before you buy the stuff and make it, I can bring some to Church Sunday.

  10. Thats okay, I think I'm just gonna go for it! Thanks though!

D'Arcy and I are gonna make a batch and split it to start with. And I found all the ingredients on Amazon for pretty cheap. I'm really excited!! Thanks so much!
